<p>We are pleased to welcome Thomas Avemaria as a new customer consultant. Apart from experiences in sales and customer support, he also has lots of expertise in HR and recruiting.</p>
<p>As a personal contact person for our customers, he will answer all questions on the <strong>heroes e-recruiting</strong> application management system and provide our new customers with competent support for product launch. The background to the staff increase is the continuously growing number of <strong>heroes e-recruiting </strong>customers.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Munich – This year, the series of studies “Recruiting Trends” is again dedicated to current developments and trends in the recruiting activities of German companies. The most important recruiting trends for 2013 that could be identified across all companies were demographic change and the shortage of skilled professionals. <p>Due to the shortage of skilled professionals and demographic change, it is still especially difficult to cover the number of required personnel in the next years. Companies expect that more than one third of all vacancies can only be filled with great effort or not at all. For recruiters, this means to quickly and optimally respond to incoming applications in an increasingly tightening market of applicants in order to attract the best candidates. Here, a software-supported application management system like <strong>heroes e-recruiting</strong> does not only help to search for and select applicants but also to coordinate internal decision processes. Thus, the entire recruiting workflow can be improved and accelerated.</p>
<p>Furthermore, the large companies that were interviewed stated that most jobs were published via online channels. Jan Wehnert, the head of the personnel development department of the MEGA group, particularly emphasizes the reliable and competent customer service and the quick launch of the heroes e-recruiting system.</strong></p>
<p>Following the principle of the MEGA group  &#8221;acting for the craft industry&#8221;, the top priority is to ensure a high quality of goods and services within and for the craft industry. Therefore, quality and service at a reasonable price/performance ratio was also crucial for the selection of an appropriate recruiting system for the entire MEGA group. The decision was made for the <strong>heroes e-recruiting</strong> application management software. After almost one year of using the system, Jan Wehnert, head of the personnel development department, summarizes:</p>

<p>Since the system launch on 1 March 2012, all HR managers have been supported in their search for the best employees by an efficient and communication-oriented application management with numerous automated process steps.</p>
<p><strong>Heroes e-recruiting</strong> now allows to consistently and quickly post new jobs. By integrating a job board on the website in the corporate design of the MEGA group, the job postings are clearly structured by location and business division. The possibility of applying online facilitates the work of both applicants and HR managers. A well-structured list of all applications for a selected job posting allows easier comparability and can be viewed by all parties involved from all business divisions at any time. Additionally, all parties involved have an overview of the steps taken within the application process via the history function. Well-founded decisions can be made by means of the assessment and forward function without delay. Automated correspondences such as acknowledgements of receipt and individual email templates for acceptance or refusal allow timely and applicant-oriented communication. Mass mailing and sending appointments in ical format allow to correspond with several applicants at a time and ensure an advantage on the market due to short response times. Interesting applicants are collected in an talent pool which is automatically established. In case of short-term staff shortages, appropriate candidates can be quickly selected via search options like matching, tagging, and ABC categories.</p>

<p>The Senior Experts Management System, which was implemented for and with Bosch Management Support GmbH to map the process of expert recruiting, is a further development of the <strong>heroes e-recruiting</strong> standard solution. The integrated qualification matching engine of <strong>heroes e-recruiting</strong> forms the flexible basis for the Senior Experts Management System mapping the entire workflow of profiling, recruiting, and administering senior experts. During the development, particular attention was paid to the special requirements of the target group, the so-called best agers. Experts are seniors that are not necessarily familiar with the daily use of web interfaces. The great potential of automated and system-supported processes was also used for the integration of the system into the existing IT landscape. All information, from identifying the involved user groups to preparing, issuing, and invoicing of contracts, working times, and travel expenses, will be forwarded to the adjacent systems in the required form.</p>
<p>The jury of the HR Excellence Awards 2012 considered the Senior Experts Management System of Bosch Management GmbH and TELUM GmbH pioneering in the future years of HR management in terms of strategy and conceptual design. The creativity of the project idea and implementation as well as the sustainability are considered outstanding. On 5 December 2012, the nominated projects will be discussed by the jury. Subsequently, the jury will vote for the category winners.</p>

<p><strong>About the HR Excellence Awards 2012</strong></p>
<p>The HR Excellence Awards 2012 are organized by the trade magazine <em>Human Resources Manager. </em>The magazine, which is published six times a year, addresses HR managers in companies, associations, and organizations and is accompanied by the regularly published newsletters <em>personalszene</em>, reporting on changes in the HR industry, and <em>HR-Presseschau</em>, giving a daily overview of news from the media.</p>
